Pupdate: Honey and Baby

Like any pet, owning and looking after a reptile is a big responsibility. Sometimes, potential owners don’t realise how much work is actually involved in caring for a pet reptile. Although they are relatively low maintenance pets, they need specialist food which cannot be bought from supermarkets, heat lamps and reflectors to create suitable conditions to survive in, a vivarium tank with a suitable substrate… the list goes on.

Honey and Baby

I have two reptiles that are nearly two years old. They’ve been part of the family for nearly 18 months now, and I love having them around. They’re both quiet and sweet, and they like to be held.

Like all other reptiles, Honey and Baby need special conditions to thrive. They have a large vivarium with a basking area and a cooler area, a UV light, and a good diet.

Bearded dragons are wonderful to care for, but if you’re considering caring for them, it is essential to research their needs first, as they need special conditions to live comfortably.
