What a better way to keep them invested in the football but concentrating on something creative then learning how to make a tissue paper football.

Tissue Paper

Is an easy way to create crafts that is most fun and simple for kids! It allows them to get messy in a controlled way. You can even help by drawing the pattern ready for them. Not to forget that they are a cost effective craft. The items that you will need for this craft are simple and you mostly likely will have most of them in the house already! If you are having kids round for a football party, you could perhaps get the patterns drawn out and the tissue paper ripped ready.

What You'll Need:

Paper plates;

Glue;

White and Black Tissue Paper;

Pen.

Instructions

To make your tissue paper football, start by sketching out a football, you can use the simple pattern below as a guide line. Having six triangles around the edges, with six hexagons around them and one in the middle! With the tips of the triangles connecting to the middle hexagons points.

Rip the tissue into small pieces and start to screw them into balls so that they can be stuck down together and easily.

Then paint the plate with glue and start sticking the tissue paper where you need to in order to form the shape of a football.
