Pupdate Cats: Sharon and Bianca

When deciding to bring a pet into your life and family, it can be far too easy to fall in love with cute puppies, kittens and other baby animals. After all, they are adorable! Unfortunately, this often means that adult animals looking for a second chance for a happy home, can get overlooked.
It is a common misconception that by rehoming an older animal, you miss out on the bonds acquired whilst rearing your four legged friend. This is untrue. By rehoming an animal as an adult pet, and giving them a safe. happy and healthy home to grow old in, the bonds acquired can be even more rewarding.
Preloved member Sharon shares her story of rehoming Bianca, a white persian cat with so much love left to give.
Sharon and Bianca
Bianca is White Persian cat with odd coloured eyes. She is now 10 years old and has been with us 4 years. She is a very affectionate and loyal cat with a sweet personality and she gets on with all our other cats of different breeds.

My favourite thing about her is her gentleness and the way she keeps our breeding Siamese cat company on her last few days before the kittens arrive.
It has been so rewarding giving an adult cat in need a home, she has been a pleasure. It is just wonderful giving both adults and kittens a forever home where they will be doted on.

My advice to anyone looking to give an animal a home is to always do lots of research into the breed before buying any pet. Make sure you can give them time and patience and tend to its needs. Every breed is different so make sure you have all the information needed before giving them a home.
Once you have researched, make sure you are happy to give many years to your new pet. A loving forever home is a must, don't let it be a passing fad, make sure you are devoted to the pet you choose.
