That time has come, summer is over and out. Now getting ready for heading back to school can be hard. Having to plan what you are going to wear, if you have a uniform how can you make it your own, don't worry we've all done it. Clear Out Time...
There is nothing more frustrating than that 'rubbish' draw that's filled to the brim with pens that no longer work, scrap paper and broken stationary. So the first step before we head out to the shops is to spend an hour testing pens, highlighters, anything and everything in that draw. This way we are reducing our waste on school supplies, plus there is no point in getting that 20 pack of biros if you have 19 working ones at home. I do find that highlighters seem to always been dried out though. Whilst scrap paper has it's uses it's important to remember that it doesn't replace a notepad. Once you're sure you've been resourceful and recycled what you can it's time to check what you have got. Then shop from there.

When it comes to picking your school supplies it might seem more obvious than it actually is. Everyone knows that you need a pen, pencil and pencil case. But in actual fact most schools will give you a list to run through when you're shopping for school supplies. The additional aspect is picking the style that you like most, I'm pretty boring and go for the all brown standard note pad and pens.

It doesn't matter if you don't have it all when you start, but school life does seem to run a bit smoother when you have the school supplies that you need.
Where To Shop
I remember heading out shopping and dragging my parents to WHSmith's where I would look at all their items, before we would head to the likes of B&M or Home Bargains. I'd end up with almost the exact same stuff for a fraction of the price. Going in with a plan means that you don't just buy things for the sake of it. It also means that you can check everything off that you need!
